Leading Asia-Pacific logistics specialist, LOGOS, with venture partner Ivanhoé Cambridge, today announced it has extended its relationship with LF Logistics in India with the international third-party logistics services provider committing to a 500,000 sf distribution centre at the Luhari Logistics Estate.

LF Logistics collaborates with over 400 brand owners and retailers through its comprehensive distribution network in Asia to provide tailor-made warehousing and transport management solutions. Leveraging its strong international network of distribution centres and expertise in network optimisation and customized supply chain solutions, LF Logistics has been expanding its footprint across India and is now working with leading fashion brands and retailers looking to build their presence in this fast-growing economy.

The new LF Logistics facility will be the fifth warehouse within the LOGOS Luhari Logistics Estate; a state-of-the-art logistics property located off National Highway 8 (NH8) in Luhari National Capital Region (NCR), 60 minutes from the Gurgaon CBD and 90 minutes from the Indira Gandhi International Airport. LOGOS is developing up to 3 million sf of warehousing across the 123-acre Estate, with two-thirds already committed. The Estate is designed to achieve operational efficiencies through its integrated infrastructure and large-scale central services and is well positioned to support e-commerce, retail, FMCG and FMCD demand to serve India’s largest consumption centre.

LOGOS’ Managing Director and Co-CEO, Trent Iliffe said: “We are pleased to extend our partnership with LF Logistics, one of the fastest growing integrated logistics companies in India, to support their significant growth in this region. Having developed a three-storey, 1 million sf facility at our Wujiang FOHO E-commerce Hub Logistics Center in China and two facilities at Marsden Park Logistics Estate in Australia, LOGOS continues to work closely with LF Logistics to support their growth needs across the region.”

Ashish Shah, Head of Leasing and Business Development added “LOGOS is committed to developing Grade A warehouses throughout India and we are pleased to be able to deliver a state-of-the-art property for LF Logistics that will enable them to bring their world class service to India.”

Prem Ramachandran, Senior Vice President, LF Logistics India said: “Following our successful project in Australia, we are excited to extend our partnership with LOGOS to build a world-class logistics facility in Luhari, Delhi NCR. The logistics market in India has been seeing an upward trajectory driven by its growing manufacturing sector and rise of e-commerce. Leveraging our strong integrated logistics solutions and extensive experience in Asia, this new facility will allow us to meet our growing customers’ needs and manage high volumes with fast turnaround times.”

In line with LOGOS, Ivanhoé Cambridge and LF Logistics’ commitment to sustainability, the Estate is incorporating market leading environmental initiatives including 20 acres of Miyawaki Forest Plantation, solar power generation and distribution for warehouse and common infrastructure energy provision.

LOGOS Luhari Logistics Estate is part of LOGOS India Logistics Venture with Ivanhoé Cambridge which has US$800 million in investment capacity to develop and own high-quality, modern logistics facilities in key logistics markets of India.
