LOGOS secures exciting acquisition in Erskine Park

Wednesday 22nd May 2024

LOGOS, part of the ESR Group, has today announced the acquisition of a 7.7ha site in Erskine Park; one of Australia’s premier Industrial & Logistics locations.

Located at 78 Lockwood Rd, the industrial site represents one of the last freehold development sites within the Erskine Park precinct. The site offers direct transport access to the Sydney CBD and other major employment hubs, including the Western Sydney Aerotropolis and other regional growth centres.

The site has been purchased with the majority of site servicing, earthworks and infrastructure already complete. LOGOS will develop the site into a prime, multi-unit logistics estate offering over 40,000sqm of gross lettable area to suit the requirements of a range of potential occupiers.

The Estate will be delivered in accordance with LOGOS’ ESG strategy and will support the businesses’ net zero ambitions. Initiatives will include maximising rooftop solar opportunities and targeting a 5 Star Green Star rating.

This is the fourth acquisition for the Pan Asia Logistics Core+ Venture (PACV), the inaugural open-ended flagship private fund ESR Group and LOGOS launched in late 2022 with a focus on investing in Asia Pacific prime logistics opportunities in response to the continued growth of logistics real estate in this region.

LOGOS Head of ANZ, Darren Searle, said: “We are pleased to have made this important and exciting acquisition as part of PACV.

The demand for top-tier warehouse space and logistics facilities remains extremely high, driven by supply chain operators seeking to broaden their operational footprints and the global expansion of e-commerce.

As one of the last freehold development sites available in Erskine Park, 78 Lockwood Road will be a highly sought after facility. As part of the fast-growing Greater Western Sydney region, the site has excellent access to major transport arterial routes serving both Sydney and interstate regions.

It’s a thriving, established industrial precinct, in the vicinity of major supply chain operators including DHL, Amazon and Coles Group, and reaffirms our commitment to this precinct following the acquisition of our Eastern Creek Logistics Estate acquired in July 2022.”
